Marley has been jet setting all over the Caribbean. He is an amazing traveler and awesome travel companion. I was a little nervous about taking an infant on such a long trip. The sudden anxiety that other strangers put on you, when they stare at you from the back of the line to hurry up with all the baby "stuff" when going through security or the glare that you get when you walk on the plane and folks are just praying that we do not sit next to them, in fear of a screaming baby flight. Or the best one was, when these 10year olds that were sitting in front of us and yelling out to his brother "there is a baby sitting behind me....I'm going to be so annoyed!" What!? I wanted to Bop him on the head. Anyways, during our whole journey Marley continued to impress me with his patience, and ability to make every moment a play day.June 24th we arrived in St. Kitts. At the airport was Grandmommie and Grandpa ,so excited to see 5 month old Marley. It was especialy exciting for my dad, because this was the first time he was going to meet Marley. I thought I was going to cry.......I held it together. Needless to say,
Marley turned my dad into a teddy bear. He was singing, laughing, playing, making goofy faces...It was fantastic! A couple of times I had to say to myself "where's my dad?" hahhhaaa
Marley met his extended Kittian family and friends and and really loved all of the nature that surrounded him. The Beach, the palm trees, the sea breeze, the moonlight.......it was so beautiful to see St.Kitts, a place that I call "home" through the eyes of my baby.
