Happy Birthday 2nd Birthday Marley!!!

Marley Elington Horsford Best turned 2yrs old on February 7, 2011. I cannot believe how fast time has flew by. He is a toddler. Running. Talking. Asking questions and sharing his inner most thoughts. He cracks me up, He tires me out, he breaks my heart with his sweetness and makes me want to cry keeping up with his 2yr old "I'm not tired energy". I cannot even remember what life was before he entered the world and honestly life for me felt like it started when he got here. Happy Birthday Marley. I love you.

We celebrated Marley's Birthday at My Gym. It was a day filled with a lot of super fun activities for about 16 kids ranging from 2-13 and their folks. We had games,gymnastics, dancing, puppet shows, pizza, cupcakes, and they even planned an "entrance". The faculty took us to the back. They tied a bandanna around his head and put him in a Big Wheel bike and as we escorted him out they played "Bad to the Bone"! It was so hilarious! I didn't even know this was happening. It was unforgettable! Birthday #2 was a success. On top of that, my best friend Kim and her family from New Jersey came and made it even more special.

The Best Musical

It has been pretty well established since Marley was born he that he has the musical bug. He has been singing since birth, surround by instruments and encouraged to make beats & melodies. He has enriched our lives and his extended family. He is a special kid. I cannot put my finger on it, but he has a light that comforts me. He makes me feel like its going to be ok when I'm with him......when actually I feel more than Ok. I'm Blessed. I love you my son.
