LA Zoo with Mayhar & Crimson
May-har Li and Crimson have been a God sent to me and Marley. She is an incredibly talented artist and our sons were born 4 days apart. We met on a gig performing for Kanye West in New York. And we have been friends ever since. Sometimes juggling life , work, family can be stressful and hectic. And we seem to always be there for each other when those binds happen. She graciously offered to take Marley to the zoo on a play date with his buddy(her son) Crimson on "one of those crazy days". Thank you for the whole day. Marley could not stop talking about the spider man face paint and all of the animal at the zoo. You are an amazing friend!
Marley's Neighbors
This is the Salinas family. They have been our neighbors for about 5 years. We knew their youngest girl when she was first born and we have grown close to them since Marley was born. They were amazing neighbors. We celebrate our kids birthdays, they were neighborly, helpful, just GOOD honest loving people. They moved a couple of weeks ago and they dropped by to say goodbye. Pictured left: Susan,Daniel,Sasha,Cindy, Fernando & Marley.
We will all miss you deeply.
Riff Rocket Concert
Below are pictures of Marley attending a childrens band called Riff Rocket. I took a picture of Marley and Riff, but it got erased. Marley was really into the Rock band's performance. He was also really into the dancers. As you can see he did not shy away at all. He even took the stage and did the "stank leg".
Marley in Spring
Marley really loves paint. With the freedom of a brush in his hand, dipping into colors, baby jars of water .......he is awe struck of what comes out onto the paper. "Wow mommy look"! every stroke a different muddled color. Even crafting at the age of 3 we both had a moment together where we didn't speak .........and we had a moment .....me a cathartic moment and Marley ..... a meditative and introspective moment. I say this because he exclaimed "Mommy I finished a master piece"!
